✨ A Disney Dream Come True: Our Family Tradition of Magical Christmas Trees ✨
The holiday season has always held a special place in my heart. There’s just something about the glowing lights, the chilly air, the scent of pine, and the feeling of joy that seems to linger in every corner of the house. But if there’s one tradition that truly brings our family together every single year, it’s decorating our Christmas tree. And let me tell you, in our home, the Christmas tree is never just a tree. It’s a whole entire experience. A theme. A tradition. A moment we wait all year for.
Every year, we challenge ourselves to create a Christmas tree that is unique, bold, unexpected, and full of personality. And trust me, our family does not do simple trees. We go big. We go colorful. We go playful. And we always go full-on magical.
Last year, we went all in on a Grinch/Whoville theme, and it was everything you’d imagine. Whimsical curls, bright neon colors, oversized ornaments, candy-cane stripes, playful chaos, and that unmistakable Dr. Seuss vibe that instantly made everyone smile the second they walked through the door. It felt like Whoville popped into our living room and stayed for the season. The kids loved it. I loved it. And our guests still talk about it.
But this year… oh, this year we leveled up.
✨ A New Tree for a New Theme
2025 (and now 2026 approaching fast) felt like the perfect time for something fresh. Something bigger, brighter, and more meaningful to our family. So we finally did it, we bought a brand-new Christmas tree.
And not just any tree.
Not your standard six-footer.
Not even a modest seven or eight feet.
We brought home a nine-foot-tall, grand, gorgeous, absolutely breathtaking tree that now stands like a glowing giant in our living room. A tree that practically demanded its own theme and it got one.
This year’s theme was a no-brainer.
Because what many people may not know about us is that my family is obsessed, and I mean OBSESSED, with all things Disney.
✨ Disney Runs Through Our Family Like Magic
Disneyland is like our second home. No matter how busy life gets, how many HR meetings I handle, how many vendor events we prep for, or how wild things get with Tina’s Tiny Things, we always make time for Disneyland.
Even if we’re tired.
Even if it’s a long week.
Even if the schedule is crazy.
We find ourselves heading to the park at least once a month, sometimes more, and it's become a bonding tradition that brings all of us joy. The rides, the characters, the shows, the fireworks, we love it all. We collect pins, ears, plushies, popcorn buckets, you name it. Disney is just part of our family DNA at this point.
(One of this year's popcorn buckets we got at Disneyland)

So this year, I knew exactly what I wanted.
A tree that wasn’t just decorated — but Disney-fied.

✨ The 2025 Disney Christmas Tree: A Dream Brought to Life
The moment the tree was up, the ideas started flowing. Our giant new tree wasn’t just tall, it had presence. It was practically asking to be dressed up in pure Disney magic.
And when I say Disney theme…
I don’t mean one or two ornaments.
I mean FULL Disney.
We went in with:
✨ Mickey-shaped ornaments
✨ Peppermint candy swirls in bright red and white
✨ Disney-themed ribbons wrapped from top to bottom
✨ Glittering bows and whimsical accents
✨ And the BEST part…
✨ Stuffed Disney characters hanging right from the branches
Yes, hanging and proudly at that.
Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and so many more characters made their way into the tree. Each one added personality, charm, nostalgia, and pure joy. It was like having our own mini Disneyland right in the middle of our living room.
The colored lights, the red tones, the candy-cane stripes, the plush toys… everything blended together into a magical display that represented our family perfectly.
This tree didn’t just glow, it shined with meaning.

✨ The Kids’ Reactions Made It Even Better
As soon as the kids saw the theme coming together, their excitement shot through the roof. They wanted to help place ornaments, choose where each character went, and of course, they kept stepping back to admire the tree like little art critics.
“Put Mickey higher!”
“No, Minnie should be near the front!”
“Pluto needs his own branch!”
The laughter, the teamwork, the joy — that’s what the holidays are all about. Those little moments that become memories. Those traditions that become stories our kids will share someday with their own children.
Watching them light up as the tree came to life made my heart so full. Because at the end of the day, the tree isn’t just décor, it’s a symbol of our love, our inside jokes, our shared passions, and our time together.

✨ Standing Back and Seeing the Magic
Once everything was in place, the bows, the candy accents, the character plushies, the ornaments, and the ribbon spiraling all the way down, we plugged in the lights and stepped back.
And… wow.
It was magical.
Festive to the max.
Colorful and joyful.
Huge, bold, warm, and full of Disney charm.
Everything I imagined and more.
It didn’t just feel like Christmas.
It felt like OUR Christmas.
Our traditions.
Our creativity.
Our love.
Our Disney obsession on display for the world to see.
I couldn’t be happier with how the tree turned out. Honestly, every time I walk by it, I smile. And that’s exactly what the holidays should do, fill your home with joy.
✨ Celebrating the Season With Love
As we head deeper into the holiday season, I hope that you and your loved ones find joy in your own traditions, whether big, small, simple, fancy, silly, or magical.
Maybe you decorate a tree too.
Maybe you bake together.
Maybe you drive around to look at lights.
Maybe you watch Christmas movies all month long.
Whatever it is… savor it.
Life moves fast.
Kids grow fast.
Memories fade fast unless we keep making new ones.
Thank you for reading and for being part of our journey, whether through Tina’s Tiny Things, our vendor adventures, or simply through these personal little glimpses into our life.
