At Tina’s Tiny Things, inspiration doesn’t always arrive in grand, dramatic ways. Sometimes… it sneaks up on us during the sweetest, simplest moments in life. And today’s tiny story is exactly that, a fun, unexpected spark that turned an ordinary morning into a creative adventure for our little family-run shop. 💕
This week, while juggling mom life, orders, school drop-offs, and coffee (lots of coffee), something adorable happened. My daughter Gia was helping me organize our candle scents, my son Gino was lining up soap molds like a tiny artisan CEO, and my older kiddos were debating which new body butter scent would “totally slay” for winter. It was pure chaos, but the magical, creative kind.
And then it happened.
One of the kids asked, “Mom, what if we made a scent that smells like when we all cuddle on the couch and watch Christmas movies?”
Cue my heart melting. 🥹❤️
Within minutes, we were brainstorming: warm vanilla, fluffy marshmallow, cozy apple spice, a pinch of peppermint… and suddenly the whole kitchen smelled like a holiday hug. We may or may not have accidentally turned breakfast into a test lab, but hey, creativity calls!
Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Behind every soap, scrub, candle, and teeny tiny thing we make… is us. Our family. Our giggles. Our messes. Our love.
